This Privacy Policy explains how EdgeBet LLC ("EdgeBet," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the EdgeBet mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the EdgeBet Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

 

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Email address
  • Account credentials
  • Subscription status
  • Promotional, referral, or creator codes you enter at signup or checkout
  • Wager and bet tracking data you choose to record, including bet amounts, odds, sportsbooks used, outcomes, and related notes ("Bet Tracking Data")
  • Support communications

Bet Tracking Data is provided voluntarily. You control what you record, and you may edit or delete individual entries at any time within the app. As described in the Terms of Service, Bet Tracking Data is informational only and is not maintained as an official record of your wagering activity.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Device identifiers (such as device type, operating system, app version)
  • Usage data (screens viewed, features used, timestamps)
  • IP address (for security and fraud prevention)
  • Diagnostic and performance data

1.3 Payment Information

EdgeBet does not store payment card information and does not process payments directly.

All subscription payments are processed exclusively by the app store through which you subscribed - currently the Apple App Store, and, if EdgeBet becomes available on Google Play, Google Play. We receive only limited subscription status and transaction identifiers.

 

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service, including displaying your Bet Tracking Data back to you
  • Authenticate users
  • Manage subscriptions and entitlements
  • Attribute referrals and administer promotional or creator code programs
  • Improve performance and features
  • Detect fraud or abuse
  • Communicate important updates
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We also do not share Bet Tracking Data with sportsbooks, advertisers, or data brokers.

 

 

3. How Data Is Stored & Secured

Your data is stored using industry-standard infrastructure:

  • Supabase (PostgreSQL) for authentication and user data
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) for backend services, storage, and APIs

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS)
  • Access controls
  • Secure cloud infrastructure

No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

 

 

4. Third-Party Services

We may share limited data with trusted third parties strictly for operating the Service:

Service Providers

  • Apple App Store - subscriptions and billing
  • RevenueCat - subscription management, entitlement status, and promotional code attribution
  • Supabase - authentication and database
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) -  infrastructure and hosting
  • Shopify - website hosting
  • Resend - transactional email delivery (such as authentication and account emails)

These providers are authorized to process data only as necessary to provide their services. We do not share Bet Tracking Data with third parties except the infrastructure providers listed above that store it on our behalf.

 

 

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes
  • Enforce agreements

Bet Tracking Data is retained while your account is active. When you delete an individual entry, it is removed from your account. When your account is deleted, associated personal data, including Bet Tracking Data, is deleted or de-identified within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile  → Delete Account) or by contacting us at support@edgebet.io. Deleting your account deletes the account and associated personal data that we are not legally required to retain (see Section 7).

 

 

6. Cookies & Tracking (Web Only)

If you use our website, we may use basic cookies or similar technologies provided by our website hosting provider for:

  • Site functionality
  • Analytics

We do not use cookies or tracking technologies for targeted advertising or cross-site advertising.

 

 

7. Your Privacy Rights

The Service is intended for users located in the United States. Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights under laws such as the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@edgebet.io. You may also delete your account and associated data directly in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Appeals (Colorado and similar states). If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to your appeal within the period required by applicable law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General or your state's attorney general.

We do not sell personal data or process it for targeted advertising, so no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out is required.

 

 

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age (or under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, if higher).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it promptly.

 

 

9. United States Only

The Service is offered and directed solely to the United States market and to residents of the United States. We do not target, market to, or knowingly offer the Service to residents of the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States.

If you access the Service while traveling outside the United States, or otherwise from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative, you are responsible for compliance with local laws, and you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

 

 

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date.

For changes that materially affect how we collect, use, or share your personal data - such as sharing data with new categories of recipients or collecting new categories of sensitive data - we will provide advance notice and, where required by the Terms of Service or applicable law, obtain your affirmative acceptance before the change applies to you. For other changes, continued use of the Service after the updated policy takes effect constitutes acceptance.
